The Liberal Arts College offers BA Major, BA Honours, and Minor programs in Western Society and Culture.

Our Core Curriculm is based in the Great Books movement from the early 20th century. Through the chronological study of key texts, images and music from antiquity to the present, you will develop critical and analytical skills while acquiring a foundation in Western thought and culture. Great books, small classes of fifteen to twenty-five students, rigorous study, devoted teachers, and a warm intellectual community provides an excellent undergraduate education and an outstanding foundation for a wide variety of academic and professional pursuits.

Beth Blum, Class of 2005
PhD student, University of Pennsylvania

The College gave me a solid grounding in the classics, as well a seemingly infinite supply of surprising, interdisciplinary thinkers to draw upon when analyzing literary texts. Not only is a Liberal Arts College background an edge in the graduate seminar, but it is also education in the best, Kenneth Burkean sense, as "equipment for life."

We welcome prospective students to visit the Liberal Arts College. For more information, please contact Lina D'Iorio at 514-848-2424 ext. 2565 or complete the information request form.
